Is Waterworks Open on Port Days?

Are the Waterworks slides open when the ship is docked at the various ports of call? Specifically the Inspiration. Does anyone know what the hours are? I've read that the hours are noon to 5:00 p.m., but was wondering if that's every day.

Good question. I know on the Ecstasy the pool itself was open, but not the slide, because they have to have a Carnival employee at the top of the slide and he was given the day off to go into port.

You're right, Fly... When I was on the Inspiration in April the WaterWorks area was closed but, of course, the pool remained open.

The Inspiration and Imagination have the Waterworks, I believe.

Yep... closed on port days with the pool remaining open.

The reason it was especially noticeable was that it rained on the sea days after that, so the slide was NEVER open after the first day.

 

They also closed off the jogging deck on sea days because of the storms.

 

We only had sun on port days, rained every sea day after the first one. Here is how our slide looked on sea days.
