which promenade room is better?

i have stayed in a promenade room before, one that was located at the end of the promenade and it was lovely. i never heard any noise. now i'd like to book another promenade room. my choices are an 8th floor near the ends or a 7th floor toward the center. does anyone know if being in the center is noisier? such as noise from the bar or casino? which do you think is a better option?

We stayed on deck 8 (center promenade) and we loved it. We heard nothing from any nearby cabin and the only sound we heard came from the parade.

we stayed Promenade ( deck 6) center... no problem, we were over a store. I'd be careful not to be over a bar just in case... we LOVED our location...
