Halifax - for 80+ YO First Time Cruisers?

Recommended Posts

My 81 YO mother and her 84 YO friend have booked their first cruise and will be stopping in Halifax and St. Johns. I have info on St. Johns for them, as I'll be going there two weeks before my mom. I need info on Halifax.

What are some 'must do' shore activities for two women in their 80s? They both can walk around, not for miles though! Any thoughts on what they must see for what will probably be their only visit to Halifax? I don't think they would be interested in going on a whale watching tour with being on a ship for a few days.

Thanks in advance!
