How's the Grand?

Hey there! I was just curious as to what you all thought of the Grand? I'm considering a Med. cruise on her next summer. We have been on the Sun in Alaska. How does she compare to the Sun?

I have never been on the Sun, but the grand class ships are beautiful. The ship is big, but the design makes her feel like a smaller ship with lots of small intimate places all over the ship. The aft of the ship is out of this world. It is open to the ocean, with an adult pool, and a terrace outside of the Horizon court, with several tables, under cover!! I think you will love her!!! :)

I may be in the minority, but I much prefer the Sun class to the Grand class.

 

I think the Grand class too big, and not very good riders in rough water.

I love the Grand--so much that I booked two cruises on the ship in one year. We liked the ship even more the second time. We go to appreciate it more- the layout, decor etc. When you are at sea during the day, go up to Skywalkers to relax. There are rarely people there and it's a great view.
