Ncl Star Alaska --children's Photo Id

On previously sailings of the Star this year the Dallies at all ports -say All guests, including children, must carry their key card as well as photo ID. I know that you do not need a passport this year but what kind of photo ID are we suppose to have for children --any idea ?

most states issue an id for kids it will look just like a drivers liceance

 

in washington it is valid for 4 years

If you acquire passports for the kids, then your ID problem is solved. Might as well, especially since passport rules will be in effect soon.

I just called NCL and confirmed that under 16 only needs the key card and birthcertificate to board and unboard the ship --key card will have their picture when scanned on the ship when they board and unboard.
