hues of blue Posted July 2, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 2, 2008 We recently booked rooms on the Carnival Victory and were upgraded to the Spa Deck. I asked if there were whirlpools in the Spa and was told no, that there are only saunas and steam rooms. Hoping that someone can help me out here because I thought that almost all ships had whirlpools in the spa. Thanks

nybumpkin Posted July 2, 2008 #3 Share Posted July 2, 2008 They were scheduled to be removed when the ship was in drydock last fall. Too bad - they were my favorites, especially on the Canada run. No kids AND they were warm!

hues of blue Posted July 2, 2008 Author #8 Share Posted July 2, 2008 So the new ships coming out have whirlpools but they are taking them out of other ships.....that just does not make sense. Has anyone seen the balcony rooms on the spa deck ? I heard that they use to be family ocean view rooms with a floor to ceiling window.

Has anyone seen the balcony rooms on the spa deck ? I heard that they use to be family ocean view rooms with a floor to ceiling window. I had a family OV room on the Valor last OCT. It was great! The windows had a slant, so I hit my head a few times. The kids loved having a snack at the table by the window. It is a shame they are gone. IMO they offered an alternative to the balcony for families with young children.
