Port Canaveral security and wine

A quick question for those who have sailed out of Port Canaveral...it seems like they are more strict than other ports. Has anyone gotten on with a big bottle of wine? That would last me through all 3 nights of dinner, so I would love to bring one, but not if it will be taken at check-in. I will pay the corkage fee, but I know the rule is 1 regular bottle and even though other people in other ports have said they brought a big bottle with no problem, just wanted to check about PC. Thanks!

Should not be a problem, you are allowed a bottle each. My DH and I each carried a bottle of champagne on in March with no problem.

I use to take the big bottles, but now Carnival says 750ml. I would pack it in your checked luggage. I wrap mine in bubble wrap and put in plastic bag.

We brought 2 large and one 750ml through security in April, no problem.

The port security does not control this each cruise line does. Check with them. Or as suggested bury it in your carry on.
