Chesie Posted July 2, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 2, 2008 On other ships we have been on, while in port, they reduce the spa treatment fees. Is this true with Princess? Thanks for your responses. Chesie
sunsetbeachgal Posted July 2, 2008 #2 Share Posted July 2, 2008 Yes...check the daily Patter...on our recent Alaska cruises they reduced prices on port days and did combinations of treatments at a discount also...and on the last day (which was a sea day) they offered a "silent auction" of some of the services-they listed about eight services and a minimum bid was 50% of the list price-I bid 50% off for one of the specialty facials and my bid was accepted...the service was absolute heaven! jff50 Posted July 2, 2008 #3 Share Posted July 2, 2008 You should be able to go onto your cruise personalizer, to pre-book spa treatments. You can enter the various days (port and sea days) and see how the price varies.

cescape Posted July 2, 2008 #5 Share Posted July 2, 2008 good idea, but I tried that the other day, did not change the price online Guess they wait to "surprise" us! I wondered if you booked on line, and they discounted that particular service for the day you booked, usually port days, would they refund the difference? Chesie Posted July 2, 2008 Author #6 Share Posted July 2, 2008 Just went online and the same price comes up for port or sea days. And after looking at the prices, it won't matter for me and I probably won't be booking a treatment. Is is April Fool's day again and someone forgot to tell me???!!! They have got to be kidding with their prices $195 for 75 minutes. I know ships charge more than we would have paid in our home town but 3x as much??? Guess we'll be by the pool that day! Unless they close them during the port days??
