Simpson Bay?

Have any of you done any activities from Simpson Bay? I didn't see that place listed on the taxi rate list. Anyone know how far/how much a taxi would be?

It's 'over the hill' so the taxi fare is probably going to be the same as if you went to Maho/Mullet. $18 for two, each way.

Which activities are you looking at, and are they Simpson Bay, Simpson Bay Lagoon, or possibly at the Pelican Marina?

There's a site called Aqua Mania (or something liked that) that mentions "Simpson" and "Pelican Bay", it's different boating type adventures. I didn't know if I'd have time to do anything there.

We know Aquamania. It's located at the Pelican Resort (timeshares) Marina, which is at Pelican Key/Simpson Bay/Kim Sha Beach.

 

We've done their Sand Dollar snorkle excursion to Creole Rock, and enjoyed it a lot.

 

It's probably 20-30 minutes or so from Philipsburg. The good news is that it's before the bridge, so you don't have to worry about timing the opening schedule.
