ATV Tours at Carcross

Has anyone done one of these? We have a car and were planning to drive up to Emerald Lake. Just wondering if this would be a good additional tour or a tourist trap. I think the kids would enjoy it for some variety.

 

Also, if you have done it, do you need to pre-book or do you think we could "wing" it? Thanks
