Need updates! What is the recommended tip for private tour guides? For bus tour guides? And for Drivers?

I used Wood Forest Hospitality in Asia for Hong Kong, China and Vietnam. They are really good. They have a website www.wood-forest.com. My travel consultant is Gigi and her email is wood_forest@live.com, very responsive and detailed oriented.

Oh, I just came back from Silversea Whisper cruised from Hong Kong through Vietnam, Bangkok to Singapore and we hired wood forest too. I had their owner Angie to tour us in Hong Kong and organized the excursions for the rest of the ports (so great that I just have to work with one nice persons for all the tours). She's awesome - great services and excellent itineraries. 6 of us had a blast. The only thing was they were a bit "over-caring". They kept emailing us the updates like weather forecast and reminders before the trip and even called our hotel to make sure we checked in / out safely. Somehow, I felt a bit annoyed by the overwhelming greetings. Other than that, excellent services and experiences.
