Can you carry on Alcohol Free Merlot

Recommended Posts

I am currently expecting and unable to drink my beloved red wine:( The only mildly fulfilling option I have is an alcohol free Merlot I found. Am I allowed to bring this on board or will it be confiscated because it is "wine"? The words Alcohol Free are clearly on the label.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I hope it is a lovely one.

I can't imagine that an alcohol free bottle of wine would be confiscated as there is non offered on the ship (at least last I looked.) I would think a simple explanation to anyone who even questioned you would result in another "congratulations!" and a welcome aboard! The bottles of non-alc wine are clearly marked, as you state. I would, if it was me, put it in my carry-on to avoid the possibility of going to the "naughty room" and just dealing with it at check-in.
