Dive operator in Cozumel/Playa Del Carmen?

Going to Playa Del Carmen (non-cruise) and looking for good dive operators in Playa Del Carmen and Cozumel.

Can't help with Playa Del Carmen but in Cozumel I highly recommend Scuba With Alison. After much research here and on another scuba board, I booked with her last month and it was wonderful. I would absolutely use her again. Here is a link:

Have to agree. Would not dive with anyone but Alison in Cozumel. She is the BEST!!!

I enjoyed Scuba Club Cozumel. I won a trip there a week after I went there for the first time on the Carnival Conquest.

 

I met several people who go there every year.

 

Scuba Club is on the water just south of town. Rooms, food and diving are included.

 

They have there own dive shop, dock, dive masters and boats.

Alison was unable to take us a year ago and she referred us to Blue XT. They were great and we're going with them again in September.

We have used Abyss Dive Center in Playa. We actually came from Cozumel on the ferry to use them. They offer reef as well as cenote diving. A Canadian is the owner (Dave I think). They operate out of a hotel in Playa.

Scuba with Alison was AWESOME!!! Her assistant, Chucho and his nephew, Toro, took us out for a combination dive/snorkel trip as I was the only diver in my group. Cozumel was also my first "real" dive after being certified for open water diving......I couldn't have asked for a better time. Going back to Coz & Grand Cayman in January on the Inspiration and already have another trip booked with Alison.
