Karencruiser43 Posted July 10, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 10, 2008 Has anybody rented jet skis at Royal Palms? If so, is there an age limit to drive them, maybe 16 and older? also do the "kids" need to produce their driving licence to drive. Many thanks
AzCruiseGurl Posted July 10, 2008 #2 Share Posted July 10, 2008 Hi, We just returned from GC. We did the Waverunner/Stingray excursion through Island Marketing... OMG it was the best we had SO much fun.. The BEST excursion I have ever taken!! Two DS 21 and 16 also had a blast. We did not have to show ID.. The tour was aprox 3hr We were on the waverunners for at least two hours. 85.00 pp. If you rent waverunners at the beach its like 65.00 for 30 min... I would do that excursion every time :D

bookbabe Posted July 13, 2008 #4 Share Posted July 13, 2008 Has anybody rented jet skis at Royal Palms? If so, is there an age limit to drive them, maybe 16 and older? also do the "kids" need to produce their driving licence to drive. There is an age limit for driving, and then another age limit for carrying a passenger. I can't remember what they are at the moment, but I know they've been posted here in the past...Drew? Was that you that posted about it? I doubt they'd need anything other than proof of age, so I don't think a drivers' license would be needed. The operator at Royal Palms is Kirk...you could always contact them for more information as well. http://www.kirkseatours.com/diveshop.shtml
Karencruiser43 Posted July 14, 2008 Author #5 Share Posted July 14, 2008 Thanks so much for your help. I did actually contact the company about 10 days ago, but they never replied, so thought I would try and get some info from the boards.
bookbabe Posted July 14, 2008 #6 Share Posted July 14, 2008 Did you try phoning? Sometimes that's a better way to reach people in Cayman...or so I'm beginning to figure out...

savannah2117 Posted July 27, 2008 #9 Share Posted July 27, 2008 My husband and 16 year old son did an excursion through Fat Fish Adventures, I posted a review on this forum. They had an absolutely amazing day. He only does 1 tour a day so that he doesn't have to "rush" back to the next people. Just commenting, I read several negative posts, I believe it was about the wave runner tour that the previous poster mentoned. You might want to check it out before you commit.
