fowler100 Posted October 17, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 17, 2004 Our son will be 20 months old at our sailing in Dec., we were wondering if anyone knows exactly what the deal is with onboard babysitting? I know what the cost is but I have yet to see available times, I thought I read that they only sit with the children til noon on excursion days?? Thanks for any and all input.:confused:If this is the case Has anyone hired a private sitter( employee looking for extra cash??) We are only looking to do one short excursion in Belize but will be about 2 hours longer than the noon cutoff.:(

kitty9 Posted October 18, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 18, 2004 According to Carnival's website and in their brochures group babysitting isn't available during Camp Carnival times which is until 10pm. Group sitting is available from 10pm until 3am. On port days group sitting is from 8am until noon, unless the ship docks late in the morning (usually after 10am) and then the service is until 6pm. Since most of the Carnival ships dock early in the morning at all their ports, you can count on the service only being offered until noon.
jacksmama Posted October 22, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 22, 2004 From what I've read, children who use Camp Carnival must be 2 years or older, and there is no other babysitting avalible other than that provided in Camp Carnival.
