Could some one please tell me what voltage do they use on board the cruise liners and what plugs do they use (USA or UK). We are first timers and need to know what adaptors to take with, we sail in 11 days from Venice on the Splendour.:) :) :) :) :)

The Splendour has both 110V with US plugs and 220V with European plugs (not UK)

All the ships have dual outlets.

Thanks, i know the UK is the flat pin 3 pin plug is the European plug the flat 2 pin plug with round pins or the round 2 pin plug with a notch on either side of it with round pins

The US one has two flat pins and the European one has two round pins and the notch on either side.

Remember electric power is not grounded. Maybe sead but not grounded.
