Just booked on Carnival Spirit in December in cabin #6262. This is a category 8E on Empress deck. Anyone have any photos of this cabin or the balcony? Any personal experience with this cabin or the other aft cabins of this category?

DH is kind of afraid he won't like the aft experience, but I have heard so many good things about them. This will be our first experience in a an aft cabin, but we also have one booked on the Serenade of the Seas for panama canal in May 2009.

Thanks so much for any help and pictures!!

He will love it! Don't believe all the stories u read on this board. We booked aft on our last two cruises and wouldn't have anything else. We were on Destiny out of San Juan last and on Deck 8 AFT. We didn't have fumes or anything falling from above us. Only negative is you usually see everything last but who cares you see it when you see it!! We felt it was very quiet and enjoyable. Our next door neighbor's were also assigned as our table mates. We enjoyed visiting with them on the deck and at dinner.

Remain optimistic!

Izzyvet: go to webshots......type in budsheila. then go to legend crusie. You will see our room. It was on spirit class ship but one deck above 8I. You will see the people I took photo below on sail away....that would be your cabin and view. I think your DH will love it. Happy sailing.
