shellgoodman Posted October 18, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 18, 2004 My DD will be turning 7 on the cruise. She is concerned that she won't be receiving any gifts on her birthday and will have to wait until she gets home. I might bring a couple of little things with me but the big stuff will have to wait. My kids aren't that picky with toys and I was wondering if someone could tell me if the gift shops have toys for a little girl. She went on the Disney cruise and loved the toys there but Carnival could be a different story. Of course I remind her that when I was 7, I didn't even know what a cruise was. As a matter of fact, I think I hadn't even been on a plane yet! She does tell me how lucky she is so I know she's grateful.

Cotton Posted October 18, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 18, 2004 I'm thinking I saw some little games - wooden, beanbag, puzzles, lots of stuffed animals, beanie Carnival bear, and mini-towel animals.
RWolver672 Posted October 18, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 18, 2004 You could always pick something up for her on one of the islands you visit.
Gingee Posted October 20, 2004 #5 Share Posted October 20, 2004 I think I saw some toys also in the souvenir shop on the Conquest.
Crichard Posted October 20, 2004 #6 Share Posted October 20, 2004 There were some small toys and stuffed animals. Depending on which day is her birthday and which island you are on, there are some neat things. My daughter got a basket of fingernail polish that turns different colors in the sun, and a t-shirt that does the same. Something different you don't really find at home. Good luck.
