Whales in Bermuda?????

We are planning our first cruise to Bermuda May 31, 2009. Is there a chance to see any whales? We have been to Alaska and Canada/New England several times and have seen tons of whales. Just wondering if the Humpbacks or other whales will still be migrating that late in the season? What about other marine life on the way to Bermuda and back to Baltimore? We just love watching the water and looking for any movement such as Dolphins, flying fish, etc.

Sorry, no whales. They migrate past the island in April on their way to the feeding grounds around the New England area.

Dolphins maybe on your cruise over. Flying fish when you get close to Bermuda. Made sure you're up on deck.

Dolphins and flying fish are the only marine life we've ever seen and only a few times.

 

One time going out of NY we didn't have the muster drill until the next morning. While we were all lined up on deck, a number of dolphins appeared and performed for us, jumping up out of the water and doing their "tricks". It REALLY was like they were performing because they did everything perpendicular to the ship, not just along side.:)

Thanks everyone. Appreciate the feedback. I assumed that it would be to late for the whales because of their migration patterns. Also great info about the dolphins and flying fish. Can't wait for our first visit.
