Menus on Splendour of Seas

Recommended Posts

What is the menus on Splendour of Seas like? We are leaving on 26th July and can't wait!!

BORING!! BORING!! BORING!!

Does that tell you? Actually, there was an Indian choice each night, pasta with marinara sauce each night and a few other things. I would rate food a 4-5 on scale of 1-10. Also, lobster night has been discontinued, I presume due to cost. The chef is English. I have been told that when there was the prior chef, the food was pretty good.

But the cruise itself is awesome. We have learned that we don't really go on a cruise for the food anymore. Eight years ago we were on Legend for the Western Med and we thought the food was wonderful.

What time were the dinner seatings?

Thanks

6:30 pm - 1st seating

9:00 pm - 2nd seating

We generally like 2nd seating, but normally it is at 8:00 or 8:30. Starting dinner at 9:00 is a little late for us. You feel like you are going to sleep on a full stomach, only to wake up and start all over again with food.
