Nassau with 9 Month Old

Any thoughts on what might be a good thing to do with our 9 month old and Grandma in Tow? I was thinking just sitting on a beach or something try to keep the cost down as well. Perferably maybe walking distance or something that wont require us to bring a car seat for the little one so bus or water taxi?

As well Nassau is a pier correct?

Carseats are basically unheard of in the Bahamas... child would sit on YOU. Hilton (BCH) is near for around $15pp (walking distance) and many shops are right off the ship. Jitneys (buses) will take you to Sheraton/Wyndham complex for $1pp each way. Can be caught in town.
