Beach for Mom

We are going to Bermuda in October and would like to take my mother. Can anyone recommend beaches that have the least incline. She can walk but doesn't do well uphill. We will be docked @ Kings Wharf / Dockyard.

 

Also, anyone know what the weather and water is like in October?

Horseshoe Bay is at the bottom of a hill. Most people walk down and take the $1.00 shuttle back up but there should be no problem taking it down as well.

 

Weather and water have always been next to perfect in Oct. for us.:)

Warwick Long Bay is similar to Horseshoe Bay is that it is a long sweeping beach. It is not as crowded as Horseshoe and the access to the beach is a much gentler slope. Horseshoe has all the ameneties including the best changing/shower area of any beach.

We like the weather in October. It is much cooler than August, about 80 degrees and very little humidity, which is more important. The water temperature is about 72, probably much warmer than it ever gets on Cape Cod or Maine. We think it is just perfect weather in all aspects, as not as many rain showers either.
