vacamama Posted October 18, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 18, 2004 Has anyone spent Christmas or Thanksgiving on The World? Do the restaurants offer traditional holiday fare? Are there any decorations in the lobby area for Christmas? I'm thinking of Christmas '06. The itinerary looks good.
gr8twocruz Posted October 19, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 19, 2004 I was onboard for Christmas '02 and the ship was beautifully decorated. Traditional holiday meals were also available in one or more of the restaurants. It is a great floating resort and I know you will enjoy her immensely. wilbar46 Posted March 13, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 13, 2006 My husband and I were on the WORLD right before Christmas in '04. Lots of decorations and tasteful music. We enjoyed our third cruise last September and would be glad to answer specific questions. wilbar46@charter.net Just today I received an offer for the March 29th Japan cruise almost too good to refuse. cusyl Posted March 14, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 14, 2006 You should remind people that you are a travel agent selling cruises on The World. Jeff You sound like you might be a little jealous. I am very interested in hearing about this ship. They used to send me literature but we moved and I haven't received it in a few years. I understand there are some smaller guest cabins on the ship that can be reserved for a week.
