Will there be a naturalist on board?

Is there any way to find out if there will be a naturalist on board on our cruise to Alaska, and if so who it will be?

Do not know the name but yes there will be a naturalist onboard.. What ship are you on?

We'll be sailing on the Dawn, leaving 08/05 out of SF.

we sailed on the dawn to alaska from s.f. last july and were lucky to meet and spend some time with Dean Paige, the onboard naturalist. without starting a tangle of responses, i'll admit that my sister and her husband (who were traveling with us) and myself are smokers, and we used to hang out on deck 12, port side.......well, dean is also one of us sinners who smokes and he used to come up and hang out as well. we got some great tips from him about shore excursions, and lots of info about alaska in general. he has written a book which we bought in the gift shop and we gladly autographed. he's very nice and VERY knowledgable about many things alaskan.
