Crown Princess: Booking a mini--Questions

Hi, everyone,

I'm so excited! I finally am about to book my second cruise! (Jan 4 sailing--soon I can go to Roll Call!)

Here's my quandry. I see that the minis are on two decks. We will probably go with the AE with the possibility that we will be upgraded (especially since there are only two AEs on the ship.)

As I look at the upper categories, except for the covered balconies with the ADs one deck below, I see that they are all on the Dolphin deck. What is the difference? I thought that generally the difference in categories was the deck. The cabins are described the same. . .

I appreciate the sage wisdom of my peers here!

The difference is the location - forward, mid-ships, aft. My personal pick would be the covered minis on Emerald deck.

If you are a sun worshiper, and are not concerned about privacy issues, you will love the Dolphin Deck minis. Personally, I love the minis on Emerald Deck, especially the ones farthest aft. We have one booked for next year on the Emerald.
