Tranferring to Ta...? Regarding redeeming Points

Hi :)

 

I just received my Visa Points certificate and I plan to redeem it for $150 off our cruise on Nov 16th.

I booked directly through RC but will transfer to a TA. Should I apply the certificate now or transfer to a TA first? Or does it matter which I do first?

 

Also, I have seen a few posts where people have called C and A before mailing in the cert...does this get it done faster? If so...could someone please give me the number to call?

 

Thanks! This is our 4th and last sailing on the Mariner....hate to see it go but we are trying out the Freedom in '09...can't wait!!

I would go ahead and apply the certificate before you transfer if you have time before your cruise. I usually try to get all the discounts and apply the certificates before I transfer, that way they can't tell me that it can't be done or that they are going to take away my obc etc.

Unless you are within 60 days or less of your cruise, it does not benefit you to call RCCL before submitting the coupons. Make a copy of the certificate before you send it in, and then send it to the Wichita, KS address on the coupon.

 

We always take the copy of the certificate on the cruise with us, in case it does not get applied. However, it has always been correctly applied.

 

Also, it probably will not show up on your on board account until day 2 or 3 of your cruise.

Hi Charlene...........Now that you have your certificates, you can call RCI's Coupon Redemption Center at 1-888-305-4626......give them the certificate number(s) and you booking number and tell them how you want them applied.

 

Then fill them out, make copies, and mail to the address shown on the front.
