Hawaii POA late 2005 or early 2006

My G/F and I are thinking of going on the POA in late 2005 early 2006, any others thinking of going? I have just started to research this ship. We have talked about Hawaii vac before but were just going to do the usual hotel thing, with this ship you can see multiple Islands and really only use the ship as a hotel and transport. I am going on my first cruise in nov, so I will see how I like them, she has never been on one either but isn't going on the Elation. I hear Hawaii is pretty gay friendly, but we have never had any problems no matter where we have vacationed. Has anyone been on this cruise?
