Has anyone cancelled their cruise wedding?

Any info on how I would go by cancelling my cruise wedding & how long it takes Carnival to complete refund?

 

We've decided we want a longer reception & will no longer be having our ceremony/reception on board although we will still cruise on the ship for our honeymoon.

Call Carnival and let them know you want to cancel. You should get all of your money back minus $250.00 or so for processing fees. It looks like you are well within the allowed cancellation time. Not sure how long to get the refund. I would guess 60 - 90 days but I would think sooner than that. Just expect it to take at least take 30 days or so.

yeah, you can call them but you better back it up in writing -- email, fax and registered mail, since most contract require cancellation in writing. :)

If you call them they will tell you what you need to do in writing to cancel.

I did, since Im still so far out, there is no penalty. I called last week & they said the refund would take 4 to 5 business days. Yay!
