NoVa Mimi Posted October 20, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 20, 2004 Has anyone ever gone over to St. Barts while in St. Maarten? If so, how did you get there, was there enough time to enjoy it in your opinion, and was it worth it? Thanks for any info!
tumper Posted October 22, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 22, 2004 I visited St. Bart's in 1988, and would love to do this day trip from St. Martin in the coming year. Royal Caribbean offers this as one of their shore excursions - if you want to go that route: "(SMAD) St. Barth's Life Styles of the Rich and Famous Approximate Duration: 6 Hours Adult: US$66.00 Child: US$33.00 " RCI contracts with the Rapid Explorer, so you can check out their website for schedules/pics/route if you want to make the trip on your own (but I didnt see any prices): http://www.rapidexplorer.com/index.htm Also, sounds like you must have a passport to go ashore at St. Bart's now. L_T Posted October 25, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 25, 2004 We haven't been there (yet!), but hope to do so some day. Seasoned travelers Ed & Sandra have posted a trip report that you may be interested in (day trip). Sounds like fun! http://home.carolina.rr.com/edsandra/st__barths.htm
