How are the lines at Pier 66?

I just saw the post about the lines at Pier 30. We're departing on Friday 8/22 from Pier 66 on the Infinity. When we arrive back the next Friday, does anyone know how many other ships will be in port? We also are looking at taking the shuttle to Pier 48 to the Thrifty car rental and wonder how bad that will be. Hopefully, it won't be as crowded as the other pier, I hope.

There will be two ships at Terminal 30. Only Infinity at Pier 66 on any given day. Lines are fairly short for the first hour or so when they let you in (about 10:30 or so), then get longer for about two hours, slow down a bit until about 1:30, then pick up again for the rest of check in time.

The shuttle to Thrifty is crowded and slow. You honestly could walk there or take the Waterfront "Street Car" (Bus) almost there faster than waiting for them.
