justcruzin85374 Posted April 11, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 11, 2004 I won the Jackpot Bingo in 48 numbers before the final day We just were on the Brilliance March 29th and I went to the afternoon Bingo session the second to last day of the cruise. I was so excited, DH couldn't believe it, 2 things I could think of was please don't let my heart go into tachycardia again (previous problem just before cruise) and was thinking of cruise critic and how I would be able to share this with all of you. It was certainly the highlight of our cruise...thanks for letting me share my excitement. Soveriegn 92 E. Caribbean Majesty 95 W. Caribbean Granduer 97 E. justcruzin85374 Posted April 11, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted April 11, 2004 Thanks everyone! I was never so excited, it was truely the highlight of the cruise! Hi neighbor , thanks for the warm welcome home. I'm tired, but feel good. I slept the first 2 days at sea in the Solarium pool pretending to read my book We didn't do any shore excursions or tours, just walked around in each port....5 in a row...so it was a bit much for me to handle. On to Bingo......since I won before the last day, the jackpot wasn't as high as previous cruises it was $3,170.00....enough for me!!! At times I still can't beleive it happened. (I needed just one number for the free cruise Bingo and thought for sure I was a winner when I needed G 51 and they called G 58 ) After careful concideration, I decided against posting a review, it is evident that RCI is cutting back and corners are cut. The staff from the dining room is IMHO not up to par and certainly not what we have recieved in the past. Same for the cabin attendants. It wasn't just us, but almost everyone we talked to. The Brillinace is just 2 years old and she showed a little more wear and tear than some of the other ships we sailed that were older. On the second day I did make a phone call to the Chief Housekeeper and voiced my concerns regarding the condition of our cabin....beleive it or not, it was the best thing I've ever did, from then on we revieved better service and was surprised on the second to last day to recieve a beautiful gift from the chief housekeeper. He gave us a set of Royal Caribbean Holiday Plates and a rolling duffle bag and matching duffle bag. It didn't make up for problems we had first encountered but did restore my faith in that someone cared enough to make sure we are happy campers and will return to RCI. We will sail RCI again, but it would have to be the deal of the century before we spend big bucks and get that kind of service Happy Easter Soveriegn 92 E. Caribbean Majesty 95 W. justcruzin85374 Posted April 11, 2004 Author #7 Share Posted April 11, 2004 Thanks great Sarah.....it seemed not too many people were playing everyday to account for the smaller jackpot. But still very exciting to win! Soveriegn 92 E. Caribbean Majesty 95 W. Caribbean Granduer 97 E.
