Carnival Game Posted August 1, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 1, 2008 I wouldn't be crazy about most of these choices as they're either at the backs or fronts of the ship. Mid ship is best if you don't want to feel any motion so that would be Verandah 8296.
Alegeeter Posted August 1, 2008 #3 Share Posted August 1, 2008 Upper 6425, 6222 Empress 7222, 7377 Verandah 8395, 8296 Spa 1105, 1107, 1109, 1110 I prefer the back of the ship. I have never had a problem with the motion in the back, but I find I am always unsteady at the front. So, personally, I would recommend 6425, 7333, and 8395 -- whichever is furthest from the elevators. We have an aft room on the Verandah deck, and we are pretty excited. However, some people express dissatisfaction on the Veranda deck because of noise of deck chairs being moved in the mornings. Others say it's no problem. I would go for 6425 or 8395. I've never been on a deck where half is rooms and half is public space. I don't think I would like it, I like the quiet and privacy of the room floor. I don't think you can really go wrong
sbcatcher1 Posted August 2, 2008 #4 Share Posted August 2, 2008 We were in 1053, inside Great location. We did feel the ship swaying from time to time. The rooms nearer the door to the pool got noise beacuse the wind would cause the door to slam.
cruisetmc Posted September 1, 2008 #5 Share Posted September 1, 2008 We were in the first cabin on the Riveria deck at the front of the ship. This was a Canada/New England itinerary. We did feel some movement on the final sea day coming back from Halifax.
