Name change?

I hear they want to drop the Radisson name and use Regent.

This is a story that has been making the rounds for about a year now. Of course, this does not mean it won't happen. But to me it means that (if true) it is most likely a "back burner" issue.

I'd heard they were just going to drop "Radisson" from the name and call it Seven Seas, period...

From what I think was a pretty reliable solurce aboard the Voyager a couple of weeks ago, it will be Regent in place of Radisson. That ties in with the more upscale chain of hotels Carlson also owns and keeps the RSSC intact.

It is coming of that I am pretty sure, probably sometime next year. They are very "tight" about what they will do so no one who really knows is talking. Of course the rumor mill is going strong. My money is on Regent Seven Seas - I have NO basis in fact just the most logical name choice at this time. This way they dont have to change all the RSSC - Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
