julielouhoo Posted August 4, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2008 Does anyone know how far in advance we need to request the Bank of America RCCL credit card certificates for OBC? Thanks!! Terri
Sue L Posted August 4, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 4, 2008 You should allow 5-6 weeks from calling to having them applied to your account without having to worry about expediting any step of it. They do expire at 6 months but that is for applying them not sailing. So even if you are not sailing for a year if you apply them with the next 6 months you are ok. Try to wait as long as you can to accrue more points. I just cashed in 700$ for OBC
songster2 Posted August 4, 2008 #3 Share Posted August 4, 2008 I learned by experience that you need to give it at least 2-4 weeks before you need to submit it, or you may have to pay a fee for expediting it. The certificates are good for 180 days. When I received my requested points, there was a bill for express delivery, even though I did not request it to be expedited. I was able to have the charge removed by contacting them.
mimikens Posted August 4, 2008 #4 Share Posted August 4, 2008 Great information. I didn't even think about it, and my final payment is coming due!
