Balcony Cabins on Ventura

We are booked on the Ventura to the Carribean on 5 Dec. We are in an aft cabin on Deck "A". In photographs of the aft area there appears to be something which resembles a glass overhang. Does anyone know if this will hang over the balconies in that area. Both P&O and our TA have said no, but I would like previous cruisers opinions.
