1st time cruiser!!

I am totally new at this cruise thing-a-ma-jig and need as much help and advise as possible. I am taking my husband and two children, ages 8 & 10, and need to know the ins and outs. I heard and have read that the Dunn's River Falls is a must go, but that's all I have heard. What other fun family activity can you recommend? Who can I get a hold of on shore excursions? Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I guess I should mention where we are headed. Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Ocho Rios.

All that I can give you that is first hand is Cozumel. We have been there 7 times with the 8th in Dec. Munchkin hit it on the head. PB is a great kid stop. Nice place, good service and food. Plenty for the youngins. And both websites mentioned are chocked full of good info.

I researched the other 2 ports for a cruise that we had to cancel because of Katrina. Dunns River Falls is a must see in Jamaica and for Grand Cayman I had picked Nativeway's Rays, Reef, and Rum Point Tour. Do a google and check them out.

Stingray City is a MUST in Grand Cayman! GC is a favorite island, shopping right at the pier is great and don't miss Guy Harvey's store! You can't top Seven Mile Beach either! ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! BUT, start as early as possible, do the earliest Stingray City tour available, get dropped off at 7 Mile Beach, then taxi back to shop until it's time to reboard! You're in for the best day! Enjoy every minute!

Hi 1st time cruiser!

Here is a link to the review I wrote for our cruise on Enchantment of the Seas Sept 07 to Ocho Rios and Grand Cayman:

We are booked on Grandeur of the Seas in Jan 09 to Key West and Cozumel. So far I am thinking we will go to Paradise Beach. My DDs (6 & 8) will love the water toys and I will love a beach massage!

Google Phil Lafayette. He is wonderful and made our time in Ocho Rios great! Any questions, let me know.

Have a wonderful trip!
