Has anyone done Carnival's Trunk Bay beach/snorkel day? Just wondered how much it is and if it was worth it, or if it would be better to do on our own, although we've never been to St. Thomas before.

Has anyone done Carnival's Trunk Bay beach/snorkel day? Just wondered how much it is and if it was worth it, or if it would be better to do on our own, although we've never been to St. Thomas before.

 

We have done this tour a number of times from Carnival and RC. In the past the cost was about $59PP. Don't miss Trunk Bay!!! Our next cruise in November we will be in St. Thomas but will make sure we get over to St. John to visit Trunk Bay. This time, however, we will do this tour on our own. There are other threads on this board that will talk you thru on doing on your own. The $59 is a bit pricey but we paid it because we are LAZY and wanted to make sure we got back to the ship on time. Not this time!! I figured with the Ferry from Red Hook, including bus ride from pier plus cab to Trunk Bay and return, we will save about 25-30 buck-a-rino's per person.

Good luck with your 1st visit to St. Thomas and like I said, DON'T MISS TRUNK BAY on ST. JOHN.......

Do it on your own and save money at least 1/2 of what you pay to the cruise line, 1. We try to get to charolette amalie Leaving Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas Leaving Cruz Bay, St. John

If that doesnt work we take a cab to red hook shorter ferry ride as well, then a cab to trunk bay etc You can time the ferry's etc to get back on time it is a snap
