Mediterranean weather in January

We are thinking of taking a cruise on the Jade in January to the Mediterranean. Stops are Barcelona, Rome Athens, Ephesus and Alexandria. Can someone tell us what the weather is like that time of year?

The temperatures below are from weatherbase.com. We are booked on the NCL Jade sailing out of Barcelona on 1/25/09. With average temperatures in the 40's to 60's, the weather sounds comfortable. The advantage of cruising the Mediterranean at this time of the year is the lack of tourists to negotiate at each port. We will be the only ship in most of our ports with the exception of our second day in Cairo, Malta and disembarkation in Barcelona - where we will share the port with one other ship.
