Kdiamond55 Posted August 8, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 8, 2008 Hi everyone, This forum just has a wealth of information, so I thought I would ask... Going on the Sky next Friday (woohoo!): - I have a balcony room, can I book reservations for the specialty restaurants 48 hours in advance? Do we call for that? - Romance package - worth it? What do you get for that? Thanks everyone!!!! Karen

You can either call or when in the lobby there should be a reservation desk for the specialty restaurants - Romance package - worth it? What do you get for that? Absolutely!! A bottle of sparkling wine....a dinner at le bistro....a cocktail party .....a romance picture... Thanks everyone!!!! Karen Enjoy your cruise!!! maggie0104 Posted August 8, 2008 #3 Share Posted August 8, 2008 I think the $79 romance package is a good deal and will be ordering for our cruise. You get: a bottle of sparkling wine and strawberries, Dinner at LeBistro (now either $15 or $20 pp), with a bottle of wine, special cake and champagne party, one photo, and canapes one evening in your stateroom. Even if you don't get it all, it's still worth it. Here is more info http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=815606
Bunkie103 Posted August 8, 2008 #4 Share Posted August 8, 2008 Thanks Maggie....the link you posted answered all my questions and I think the Romance Package is just right for our 40th anniversary.
ecclectic-eccentric Posted August 8, 2008 #5 Share Posted August 8, 2008 We've booked the package, too. (Only 17 years for us, but still worth celebrating!) We're also in a balcony and have heard that there is the 48 hour advance reservation option, but I don't know who to contact. Does anyone out there know? Thanks! ee
jkrislc Posted August 8, 2008 #6 Share Posted August 8, 2008 The Romance Package is one of the best deals going. In addition, you should be able to book Le Bistro at anytime after boarding, not just 48 hours before.
