gogispu Posted August 9, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 9, 2008 Am hearing now that you don't get luggage tags when you check in on line. What kind of issues does this present when dropping luggage off at the pier? We like to have everything ready to go when we arrive. If you print them off the computer how do they hold up? Will have 6 of us traveling (with lots of luggage Anne

Will have 6 of us traveling (with lots of luggageAnne I just got back from an Alaska cruise on Serenade in June. Our luggage tags were included with our cruise documents. They are basically the same type sticky tags that the airport uses to mark luggage. We had three tags each with a bar code, cabin number, and our name. It may have had something else on it, but this is all I recall. We did a pre-cruise through RCCL, and the RCCL person at the hotel notified us more tags were available should we need them. I assume there will be something similar at the port, otherwise you would have to hand carry extra bags without tags.
