Snuba vs. Sea helmet in Cabo???

Carnival Elation in 12 days (but who's counting :D ) - and am considering either snuba or sea trek helmet diving in Cabo. I definitely want to do something underwater but I'm not so great with snorkeling.... My two main questions are

1) anyone have an opinion of which is best? can you see equally well from the helmet as you can with snuba?

2) I wear contact lenses; I know you can wear them with the sea helmet, is there any problem and/or risk in wearing them with snuba?

I wear my contacts when I'm snorkling and you use the same type of mask for snuba. No problems at all!

Went helmet diving in St Thomas last year with contacts no problem.
