Sailing on the SD 1, Nov 28. Voyage details on SD's homepage say embarkation Ch. Amalie. However www.vinow(cruise schedule for November) has information stating SD 1 anchoring St. John. Any comments from earlier guests or other information?

That's probably a mistake. Two years ago a cruise I was on should have docked at WICO (Havensight) according to the website you mentioned, but it docked at Crown Bay (dreary freight terminal) instead. Of course, SeaDream may decide to go across the channel to St. John the first night instead of the next morning (it takes less than an hour!). That might be better as Charlotte Amalie is not particularly safe at night.
