Grandeur April 3rd Cruisers

Hubby & I were on that cruise & we had a great time. The weather was wonderful & the ship was in very good condition. We made all of our ports & had smooth seas. If you have any specific questions please ask & I'll try to answer soon.

We left Costa Maya earlier than expected. I think it was about 8PM. We heard that a tornado hit Costa Maya not long after we left, but while we were there the weather was great. It was a really nice port & we really enjoyed relaxing on the beach right at the end of the pier!! [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img]

How long cruising down the Ole Miss before you hit the open Sea's?? Glad to hear the Grandeur is in great shape. Thank you

We left on time & it was way past dark when we hit the open sea. I'd say it was at least 9 PM.
We changed to daylight savings time while we were on the cruise. Maybe you'll have more daylight now to watch the river, that was really relaxing!

It is 109 miles down the Mississippi before (or after) you hit the Gulf. Just happened to see Harbor Master (pilot) get on our ship. Was neat to see that. The river does not smell too good, however!

Thanks, I was hoping there was some cruise time down the Ole Miss. Could live without the smell.
