What to pack for Eastern Med in early Oct

My DH and I are going on our first cruise in the eastern med the second week of October. I have some idea of what to pack but still need some advice from you seasoned cruisers. I also tend to overpack so I'm trying to make sure I pack only the bare minimum.

I'll be watching the replies to your post with interest. We'll be coming home about the time you sail. I have no idea whether to pack shorts, capris or long pants....or all of them. :confused:

I've got my own packing list, but it's personal and what you may want will differ from mine. I think (as far as toiletries go) you need to go through your own personal routine at home, take what you can't bear to be without and leave behind anything you can possibly forego.

 

Pack for no more than a week, ships have laundry service available. I've pared my list down to what I will probably be bored with by the time we get home, but I'm trying to make this trip about the travel, not the clothing. The clothing I've selected to take, mostly stuff I already have with a couple of new items thrown in, has all been travel tested for ease of packability, comfort and multiple use.
