Lynzchat Posted August 18, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 18, 2008 We're cruising on Carnival's Sensation for 3 nights, Sept 17th, right before a week long Disney World trip. Does anyone know if they have a formal night where DH would need a suit or something? With the baggage fees, we're trying to limit our wardrobe and a suit will rarely be used at Disney. :D
Luluwa Posted August 18, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 18, 2008 NOPE no formal night on the 3-night cruises..sorry.
Shutterlady Posted August 18, 2008 #3 Share Posted August 18, 2008 We're doing 3 nights in a couple of weeks on the Paradise, and I thought there was supposed to be a formal night on the 2nd night when we are in Ensenada. Is this not correct?
krystalkruzer Posted August 18, 2008 #4 Share Posted August 18, 2008 Carnival no longer has a formal night. It is now cruise elegant and a suit is not required by the dress code.I have been on that cruise twice already.
Cherieberrie6 Posted August 18, 2008 #5 Share Posted August 18, 2008 If you're worried about space, you wouldn't nessisarily have to go to the formal dinner at all - there will defiantely be food on the lido deck and dresscode doesn't exisit :p
TortieGal Posted August 18, 2008 #6 Share Posted August 18, 2008 On our April 3 Day Paradise sailing, there was a formal/elegant night....it was the second night.
HereIam Posted August 18, 2008 #7 Share Posted August 18, 2008 We were on the Sensation in Jan for a 3 nighter. The formal night was the second night (the night you are in Nassau).
Lynzchat Posted August 18, 2008 Author #8 Share Posted August 18, 2008 We were on the Sensation in Jan for a 3 nighter. The formal night was the second night (the night you are in Nassau). We are on the Sensation and it's a 3 nighter so I guess there is a formal night. WE like eating in the main dining area, but I can't remember if there is a dress code for that main dining room. I guess we'll wing it. Like someone said, we can always do room service or eat on deck. Thanks everyone!
