CARNIVAL - Precruise gifts purchased online

Does anyone know if I purchase a bottle of wine online before the cruise from Carnival's gifts and services and opt to bring the bottle of wine into the dining room, will we be charged a corkage fee? Thanks....

Hi, I think you can have the bottle of wine delivered to the dining room instead of your cabin. I don't think they would charge to open it for you. But one thing for sure, you can call carnival and get an answer that will be more definate.

I purchased a bottle of wine to be delivered to our cabin upon embarkation. Several days later I chilled it and carried it to our table for dinner. I informed our waiter of the fact that we had purchased it through Carnival and he did not charge any corkage fee.

Why not just purchase the bottle from the wine list in the Dining room and they will uncork it for you and hold it from meal to meal (they sell by the glass and the bottle) - youcould probably visit the Dining room when you embark and ask to see the wine list. Ken
