Self service laundry on GEM

NCL ships with self service laundrymats are

 

Dawn, Jewel, Jade, Pearl, and Gem.

 

The use of the laundry is free, there is a vending machine for the detergent, which isn't that expensive - a buck or two, which you can avoid if you bring your own detergent.

 

All NCL ships have a ship laundry that provide valet services.

The only problem is that you have to remove the Jade from that list now. :mad:

there is 3 laundrys... each with 3 washers and 3 dryers....

If you plan on buying the laundry detergent on board, remember to bring quarters ($1 per small box -- a box cleands on machine load). We totally forgot and had to scramble around looking for quarters. The laundry room also has an iron and ironing board

Are you sure about deck 6? That's the floor with Magenta Dining area, Le Bistro, and the main bar areas.

 

Here is the plan from the Pearl. I suspect it's pretty much the same. Remember, the laundry will only be on decks with cabins.
