Questions about the Fantasy?

Does anyone know approximately what time the Fantasy gets in to New Orleans? And is there a good place to watch it pull in?

I don't know what time, but "The Riverwalk" between the Hilton and the convention center is a good place to see it. (It's a shopping center/restaurant place).

 

Edited: when do you want to do this? Fantasy is in Mobile until it goes to dry dock.

You better be prepared to get up pretty early! On my last Fantasy cruise a few months ago we arrived back in New Orleans at 4am.

We have sailed on the Fantasy out of New Orleans 3 times and every time arrival was in the "early" (4am -5am) morning.

 

We are sailing on her on 10-09 ( just before your cruise )...so we will be sure to wave if we are still awake when she docks!!! :D

We are going to be on the October 13 cruise. When we went on the conquest last October and we watched the ship turn around in the waterway and it was the COOLEST!!! Thing to see. So now we have to watch the ships we go on pull in.

It is usually between 4-5am. The Fantasy wont be back to New Orleans till late Sept. The Riverwalk is the best place to watch it come in.

As anywhere, be aware of your surroundings. It is relatively safe because next door at the terminal, you have several police agencies coming to work as the ship docks.

By the time the OP comes down to New Orleans for the October 13th cruise the Fantasy will already be back in new Orleans, making it possible for the OP to see the early morning arrival if he/she is willing to be up that early.
