smoking in cabin ?

just wondering if this is still allowed?

other cruise lines have asked passengers not to smoke in their cabins for safety reasons so was wondering about NCL.

I thought in the past that port side of ships NCL were non smoking cabins and starboard were smoking. Am I wrong in my memory bank? (I started with NCL in 1996)

Yes you can smoke in the cabins.

Yes you can smoke in the cabins. Doesn't matter which side of the ship you are on (cabin wise). Outside on the public decks it does matter and I believe it is the port side. (Spirit) There are also only certain bars you can smoke in as well. You will probably not find ashtrays in your room when you arrive, but just ask your stewards and they will give you some. They gave me a more covered for the balcony and a standard for the room.

Your memory is wrong. NCL has always allowed smoking in all cabins, and still do.

 

Although smoking on the rest of the ship is very limited. Just the casino, cabins, cigar bar, and specific locations up on deck are where smoking is allowed today.
