satxdiver Posted August 30, 2008 #27 Share Posted August 30, 2008 What moneybags told you is true for most of the time. However you may get that one immigration officer who has decided to be a hard nose about the whole thing. If you have your marriage license handy, bring it along just in case. Have a great time and don't wait so long to get out of the USA and see how the rest of the world lives. We in the USA are way too isolated. There is a whole wide wonderful world out there waiting to be explored.
ThePatientOne Posted August 31, 2008 #28 Share Posted August 31, 2008 As others have said, and being that the rules are changing and soon... Get your passport.. It is much more convenient than the BC and DL route.. Both for boarding as well as disembarking.. Flash your passport and you are done.. I have traveled both as a cruiser and an international business traveler.. The passport is the key to speedy customs inspection whether entering the US or some other Country.. Just my humble opinion is all...
